About Me

Hi my name is Claudia Blanton, and welcome to my blog “The Homeschool Witch” !

As an eclectic witch and home schooling parent, my blog reflects my eclectic life, so you are bound to find a wide variety of issues and topics covered here.  A little warning, I am opinionated, passionate and out spoken, but open-minded to all types of views and paths, as long as everyone respects mine.
I have been married for 20 years to a wonderful husband, and we have two children together. Our dogs are our other children, both of them are rescues ( I encourage you to rescue an animal from your local shelter! If you have space in your heart and home, add a pet from a shelter to your family!)
We have home schooled our children from the beginning, both have never spent a day in public school. Our method of teaching our children is as eclectic as is our spiritual practice.

My husband is pagan, while my kids and I are Wiccan Witches, belonging to the Correllian Tradition.
I am a equality activist, raising both awareness and action for gender, orientation, race and religious equality via various activities and groups. Our main group for this activity is located here:
http://www.facebook.com/groups/pagansforpeace/ Pagan’s For Peace and Equality

When I am not there or in my Pagan Homeschooling Group http://www.facebook.com/groups/120935571269466/

you can find me spending time with my family, going for long walks and preparing for our move to Southern California.

Pull up a chair, and join me on our families journey through our various interests and activities. I will promise you an interesting ride! Hold on to your broom sticks!

Many blessings!
